If you’re looking for a real way to take action on the climate crisis, you’ve found it.
Public Outreach was founded in 2002 by former Greenpeace canvassers who believed that ethical fundraising begins with fairness – a guaranteed hourly wage, transparent practices, and respect for both fundraisers and donors.
Today, we’re one of North America’s leading ethical fundraising agencies, partnering with major environmental and humanitarian organizations to secure the sustainable monthly support they need to protect our planet, defend wildlife, and uplift vulnerable communities.
To us, activism isn’t a hobby – it’s a respected (paid) job. Our work is rooted in honest, face-to-face conversations that inspire people to become long-term supporters of the causes they care about. Because real change grows from real human connection.
If you’re passionate about the environment, climate justice, conservation, or social impact, this is a place where your work will truly reflect your values. You’ll join a diverse, mission-driven team united by a shared commitment to protecting the planet and building a more sustainable future.
We offer a fair, stable hourly wage, prioritize staff wellbeing, and invest heavily in training and support – because empowering our fundraisers is the most impactful climate investment we can make.
