☀️ Solar PV / EV Installer | Cardiff / South Wales | £45,000–£50,000 + Company Vehicle


Looking to take the next step in renewable energy?


An established electrical contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Solar PV / EV Installer to join its growing team, working across a range of renewable energy and electrical installation projects throughout South Wales.


This is a great opportunity for a qualified electrician or experienced installer looking to develop their career within the expanding renewables sector.


? The Role

  • Carry out Solar PV installations across domestic and commercial properties.
  • Install EV charge points and associated electrical equipment.
  • Complete electrical testing, inspection and commissioning.
  • Install associated cabling, containment and distribution equipment.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.
  • Work independently and alongside other engineers on site.
  • Travel to projects across South Wales.


⚡ What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in electrical installation, ideally Solar PV and/or EV charging.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition (BS7671).
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing would be advantageous.
  • Solar PV or EV charging qualifications are desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to develop within renewable technologies.


Candidates with a strong electrical background but limited Solar PV or EV experience may also be considered.
