The Role

Role Summary

To strengthen relationships with PROTON e.MAS owners by delivering high-quality engagement experiences, developing active owner communities nationwide and securing strategic partnerships that provide additional value to owners and support event delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Owner Events and Experiences

  • Plan and execute the annual calendar of HQ-led owner engagement events.
  • Manage events end-to-end, including concept development, budgeting, venue selection, agency and vendor management, registration, logistics, safety and on-site execution.
  • Develop event programmes that strengthen owner satisfaction, community connection and brand affinity.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, dealers and external partners to ensure effective event delivery.
  • Manage post-event communications, participant feedback and performance reporting.
  • Maintain event playbooks, timelines and operating standards.


2. Owner Community Development

  • Develop regional, lifestyle and interest-based PROTON e.MAS owner communities nationwide.
  • Identify and nurture active owners who can become community leaders, organisers, creators and brand advocates.
  • Build communities around relevant owner interests, such as outdoor activities, family activities, road trips, sustainability and EV ownership.
  • Support owner-led activities through guidance, connections, merchandise, sponsorships and other approved resources.
  • Maintain relationships with community leaders and encourage regular community activities.
  • Connect regional communities with HQ events, dealer activities and relevant brand programmes.
  • Monitor community growth, participation, activity levels, sentiment and overall community health.
  • Develop community guidelines, engagement toolkits and operating processes.


3. Brand Partnerships and Owner Privileges

  • Identify brand partners that can provide exclusive privileges, discounts, products or experiences to PROTON e.MAS owners.
  • Develop partnership proposals that communicate the value of engaging the e.MAS owner community.
  • Negotiate partnership terms, owner benefits, deliverables and activation plans.
  • Maintain partner relationships and continuously refresh the owner benefits portfolio.
  • Work with partners to develop community activities and owner engagement opportunities.


4. Event Sponsorship and Cost-Sharing

  • Identify partners and sponsors that can contribute funding, products, venues, services or other resources for owner events.
  • Develop co-funded event concepts that create value for PROTON e.MAS, participating partners and owners.
  • Manage sponsorship packages, partner deliverables and post-event reporting.
  • Track the value of sponsorships, in-kind contributions and event cost savings generated.


5. Budget, Governance and Reporting

  • Prepare and manage budgets for events, community activities and partnership activations.
  • Manage procurement, quotations, purchase requests, invoices and vendor documentation.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, brand guidelines and safety requirements.
  • Prepare regular reports covering event performance, community development and partnership outcomes.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Event Management or a related discipline.
  • At least 4–6 years of experience in event management, community development, customer engagement, partnerships or experiential marketing.
  • Proven experience managing customer events from planning through completion.
  • Experience developing communities, partnerships, sponsorships or customer privilege programmes is preferred.
