Role Description The Climate Content Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. In this position, the specialist researches climate, sustainability, and carbon market topics, translating complex concepts into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and editing articles, reports, web pages, and social media posts that highlight ProClime’s projects, insights, and impact. The role also involves collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy, aligning content with brand and strategic objectives, and optimizing materials for digital channels. The specialist monitors industry trends, updates content accordingly, and supports campaigns and stakeholder communications that advance ProClime’s mission.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in research, writing, and editing, with the ability to communicate complex climate and sustainability topics clearly.
- Experience developing digital and web-ready content, including articles, blogs, social media posts, and thought leadership pieces.
- Familiarity with climate policy, carbon markets, sustainability frameworks, or environmental science.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, synthesize input from experts, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English, with excellent grammar, clarity, and attention to detail; additional language skills are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Climate Science, Communications, Journalism, Public Policy, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort working on-site in Bengaluru and engaging with stakeholders in person for interviews, events, or workshops.
- Interest in climate action, sustainability innovation, and impact-driven work, with a commitment to equity and inclusion in communication.
