Role Overview

We’re looking for a Data Analyst who can manage the process of digitizing handwritten data, ensuring accuracy and integrity in our project databases. The ideal candidate will combine strong attention to detail with the ability to work on data validation and verification within Prithu’s digital platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry & Digitization
  • Accurately input handwritten field or farmer survey data into our digital systems (Google Sheets, custom web dashboards, or mobile app backend).
  • Identify and resolve inconsistencies or missing data in coordination with field teams.
  • Data Verification
  • Cross-check digital entries against scanned forms, images, or source documents.
  • Validate key project parameters (e.g., land area, crop type, GPS coordinates, farmer ID).
  • Flag discrepancies and work with internal QA or tech teams to ensure data integrity.
  • Data Management
  • Maintain organized digital records with version control and audit traceability.
  • Coordinate with the field operations and tech teams for real-time verification updates.
  • Assist in designing and testing improved data collection templates for accuracy and efficiency.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree completed or ongoing in Data Analytics, Agriculture, Statistics, Environmental Science, or any relevant field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in data entry, analysis, or field data digitization (internships count).
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, familiarity with data dashboards or CRMs.
  • Ability to read and interpret handwritten English, Hindi, or regional data forms.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with remote teams and handling large data volumes.


Good to Have

  • Basic understanding of carbon projects, agriculture, or GIS data.
  • Experience with OCR tools or AI-based data validation systems.
