About the Role

This person helps electric or hybrid vehicles go farther using less energy. They use software to test and improve how the vehicle uses power and moves efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Work on improving range and efficiency of EV/Hybrid vehicles
  • Perform simulations using MATLAB / Simulink (Powertrain Blockset)
  • Analyze vehicle performance including aerodynamics and rolling resistance
  • Improve powertrain efficiency through modeling and simulations
  • Build simulation models and perform scripting tasks
  • Collaborate with engineering teams for performance optimization

Required Skills

  • Experience with MATLAB
  • Experience with Simulink
  • Knowledge of Powertrain Blockset
  • Experience in CAE, Simulation, or Modeling
  • Familiarity with EV, Electric Vehicle, or Hybrid technologies
  • Understanding of Aerodynamics, Rolling Resistance, or Powertrain Efficiency

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the Automotive / Electric Vehicles domain

Pay range and compensation package

Salary ($/Annum): ~$95K
