Position Overview: As a traveling solar canvasser, you will be traveling into markets for a minimum of two weeks per trip. All travel; housing, transportation, and food will be covered by the company.
Responsibilities:
- Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand their needs, challenges, and pain points, and effectively communicate how our offerings can address their requirements.
- Maintain a detailed and organized record of all interactions, lead qualifications, and appointment scheduling activities in the CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to align on target markets, messaging strategies, and follow-up approaches.
- Utilize persuasive communication techniques to overcome objections and encourage prospects to agree to appointments with our sales representatives.
- Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly quotas for qualified appointments set.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to tailor conversations and position effectively.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and refine appointment setting techniques.
- Provide valuable feedback to the sales and marketing teams based on insights gained from interactions with prospects.
- This is a door to door canvassing opportunity.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales Appointment Setter, Telemarketer, or similar role, preferably in a B2C environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear and confident demeanor.
- Persistent, goal-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in using sales tools for lead management and tracking.
- Ability to understand and articulate complex product/service features and benefits in a concise manner.
- Basic understanding of sales techniques, objection handling, and appointment setting best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage and update lead data accurately.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
