Associate / Sr. Associate / Manager - Climate Change and Renewable Energy

Role Description:
We are looking for an experienced professional to provide strategic and operational support in developing and implementing climate change initiatives, policies, action plans, and stakeholder engagement programs. The role will involve working across areas such as climate change mitigation and adaptation, carbon markets, renewable energy, energy conservation, decarbonization, clean technologies, and sustainability.
Qualifications:
- Develop climate change policies, strategies, action plans, and technical reports
- Research climate mitigation, adaptation, carbon markets, decarbonization, and sustainability
- Support initiatives related to solar, wind energy, renewable energy, and energy conservation
- Prepare concept notes, policy briefs, presentations, ToRs, and knowledge materials
- Coordinate with Government Departments, agencies, research institutions, universities, and other stakeholders
- Organise stakeholder meetings, workshops, training and capacity-building programs
- Support public awareness and communication initiatives on climate change and clean energy
- Provide technical support for implementation of climate-related programs and projects
Required Skills:
- 1–6 Years of relevant professional experience in climate change, sustainability, environment, renewable energy, carbon markets, policy research, or related areas
- Should have experience working with Government Departments or consulting firms
- Strong knowledge of Climate Change, Sustainability, Mitigation & Adaptation
- Understanding of Carbon Markets, Decarbonization & Renewable Energy
- Policy research and technical report writing
- Stakeholder coordination and communication
- Strong analytical, presentation and documentation skills
Good to Have:
- Experience in International development organisations, climate-focused institutions, research organisations, universities, or sustainability/energy companies will be preferred
- Knowledge of Indian/Gujarat climate policies will be an advantage
- Proficiency in Gujarati language will be an advantage
