Role Overview


PowerUP Energy Technologies is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Junior Quality Engineer or Quality Engineer Intern to support our Quality Manager in daily quality operations. This role is ideal for someone looking to begin a professional career in Quality Engineering and who wants hands-on experience in a fast-growing deep-tech company.


You will work closely with the Quality Manager on documentation, certification maintenance, component and production quality checks, and compliance-related tasks. This can be a part-time or a full-time role, onsite at our headquarters in Tallinn.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and update quality documentation and records based on directions from QM (Quality Manager).
  • Support certification and audit preparation activities.
  • Conduct component-level and production quality inspections.
  • Assist in planning and executing compliance validation programs.
  • Support the definition and implementation of improvement programs.
  • Help review and track legal, regulatory, and standards compliance requirements.
  • Provide daily operational support for quality activities in the prototyping and production environment.
  • Collaborate with all engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are met


Requirements:


  • Degree (or final Bachelor year/ Master studies) in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn quality engineering methods.
  • Good documentation and organisational skills.
  • Interest in compliance, product reliability, and process improvement.
  • Ability to follow instructions, but also work independently and communicate effectively.
