We are seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Lead to support and enhance our global accounts payable operations. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate and compliant invoice and corporate card processing and payments, while maintaining strong controls and leveraging AI and system automation.
Reporting to the Group Operational Controller, this is a hands-on role in a modern, centralized AP function supporting affiliates in North America and Europe, all operating on a common systems environment (NetSuite, Tipalti, Ramp).
The ideal candidate combines strong operational execution with the ability to manage complexity, resolve exceptions, and drive efficiency through systems and process improvements.

We are seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Lead to support and enhance our global accounts payable operations. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate and compliant invoice and corporate card processing and payments, while maintaining strong controls and leveraging AI and system automation.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Operations
- Manage end-to-end invoice intake, validation, coding, and processing across multiple entities
- Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments in accordance with internal controls
- In coordination with Treasury, execute payment runs and monitor payment status across entities
- Manage invoice approval workflows and follow up on pending approvals
- Ensure compliance with country-specific invoicing, tax, and reporting requirements across jurisdictions (e.g., e-invoicing, VAT/GST/Sales taxes rules and filings, and local statutory obligations)
- Maintain vendor master data across systems and entities
- Manage vendor onboarding and documentation requirements, ensure tax and banking information completeness and accuracy
- Act as primary point of contact for vendor payment inquiries
- Drive resolution of payment discrepancies and disputes
- In coordination with FP&A, prepare and book AP accruals
- Ensure all invoices are captured and approved for period-end cut-off
- Contributes to AP, accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, vendor prepayments and deposits account reconciliations
- Monitor system integrations and resolve sync errors
- Support audit requests and documentation
- Prepare disbursements in compliance with approval policies and payment controls
- Review scheduled payments and manage timing of disbursements
- Monitor and resolve payment exceptions and failures
- Support cash disbursement visibility and short-term forecasting (13 weeks rolling)
- Administer and control the corporate card program, including transaction review, enforcement of spend policies, exception management, and user guidance
- Support users (card issuance, limit updates, reimbursements, declined transactions)
- Review and validate expense transactions and AI coding
- Leverage our systems automation and AI capabilities to improve efficiency
- Maintain user permissions, approval workflows and routing logic in Tipalti and Ramp
- Support implementation of controls, process and tool improvements
- Monitor and optimize AP-related processing costs, including system fees, FX charges, transaction fees, and card program rebates
- 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Experience working in multi-entity and/or international environments
- Strong understanding of AP controls and payment processes
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Experience with AP automation tools (Tipalti, Ramp, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage priorities across multiple entities and deadlines
- Comfortable handling exceptions and resolving operational issues
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
