Member Relations Coordinator
PNGC Power is at a pivotal moment in the Pacific Northwest energy transition. Over the past three years we grew from 16 to 25 member cooperatives, secured a $78.9 million USDA grant to jumpstart rural renewables, and launched a diversified resource development program spanning a natural gas plant, geothermal, and solar + battery projects.
The Member Relations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting PNGC Power's member utilities by coordinating services, facilitating communication, and providing detailed reporting and invoicing for energy efficiency programs. This position ensures that members receive timely, accurate, and actionable information to support their energy efficiency programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison for member utilities regarding energy efficiency program support and reporting.
- Collect, analyze, and report on energy efficiency program data from member utilities to ensure compliance with BPA and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and summaries that track program performance, savings, and participation metrics.
- Coordinate and support member meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to energy efficiency and demand-side management.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of BPA Energy Efficiency Implementation Budgets and other required documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of member interactions, program participation, and reporting submissions.
- Support the onboarding of new member staff involved in energy efficiency programs.
- Maintain member's renewable energy credit portfolios (including reporting generation)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in energy management, environmental science, business, accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, validation, and reporting—especially related to energy savings and program performance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, charts, and formulas)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience working with electric cooperatives or public power utilities.
- Knowledge of energy efficiency measures, cost-effectiveness testing, and utility program evaluation.
- Understanding of cooperative principles and PNGC Power's mission to deliver reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy.
- Familiarity with BPA energy efficiency programs, reporting tools (such as IS2.0), and regional energy efficiency policies.
- Experience in energy efficiency program coordination, utility services, or data reporting.
