Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Manager – Engineering to lead multidisciplinary engineering and sustainability projects. The role involves managing project delivery, leading technical teams, engaging with clients and stakeholders, and contributing to business development and organizational growth.

Depending on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and demonstrated leadership capabilities, the selected candidate may be considered for either the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of engineering and sustainability projects.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams and ensure timely delivery of high-quality technical outputs.
• Provide technical leadership for projects related to Energy Efficiency, Climate Change, Industrial Decarbonization, Net Zero, ESG, Carbon Markets, Circular Economy, and Sustainable Infrastructure.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, industries, development partners, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Lead the preparation and review of technical proposals, Expressions of Interest (EOIs), Terms of Reference (ToRs), tender documents, project reports, and client presentations.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and contractual commitments to ensure successful project delivery.
• Mentor and guide project teams while promoting technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Represent Pledge4Earth in technical meetings, workshops, conferences, stakeholder consultations, and industry forums.
• Support business development, strategic partnerships, and organizational capacity building based on the level of appointment.

Qualifications

Essential

• Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech./B.E.) in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Energy, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.

Preferred

• Master's Degree in Energy Management, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Climate Change, or related fields.
• Certified Energy Auditor / Energy Manager (Bureau of Energy Efficiency).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or other Project Management certifications will be an added advantage.
• GRIHA, LEED, IGBC, LCA/EPD, or similar sustainability certifications are desirable.

Experience

• 6–15 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Sustainability, Energy Efficiency, Climate Change, Industrial Decarbonization, ESG, or related consulting sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, technical reporting, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience working with Government agencies, Development Partners, Multilateral Organizations, or Industry Associations will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with significant leadership and business development experience may be considered for the Senior Project Manager position.

Skills

• Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, budgeting, and resource planning skills.
• Excellent technical writing, proposal development, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with MS Project, Power BI, OpenLCA, CAD, or similar engineering and project management tools is desirable.
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, decision-making, mentoring, and problem-solving abilities.
