Position Overview
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Industrial Mechanic / Service Technician to lead field operations for our proprietary plasma processing system. In this hands-on role, you’ll support installation, maintenance, and repair of cutting-edge equipment at wastewater treatment and agricultural digestion sites—helping us drive sustainable change in energy and water use.
As a key member of our manufacturing and service team, you’ll also contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our next-generation machines. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on advanced technology with real-world environmental impact, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in renewable energy and water treatment.
Responsibilities
· Travel to local sites (agriculture & wastewater) for equipment installation, upgrades, and service. Note: No overnight travel required; paid overtime; company vehicle provided.
· Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plasma equipment.
· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
· Commission new systems and ensure successful startup and handoff to clients.
· Keep detailed service logs, maintenance records, and compliance documentation.
· Ensure all work meets internal standards and external safety/environmental regulations.
Qualifications
· 2+ years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, or related fields.
· Comfortable working independently in field environments.
· Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
· Ability to interpret and contribute to technical manuals and schematics.
· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
· Valid driver’s license required.
· Technical certification or associate degree in a mechanical or electrical field is a plus.
