Role Description The Volunteer Energy Webinar Host is a full-time remote role responsible for planning, moderating, and delivering online educational sessions on energy, climate change, and related topics. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating webinar schedules, welcoming participants, introducing speakers, and guiding discussions to ensure clear, engaging communication. The host will manage audience questions, support attendees with basic technical and access issues, and provide a respectful and inclusive environment for diverse participants. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the team to refine webinar content, promoting upcoming sessions, and collecting feedback to improve future events. The role may also involve occasional training of co-hosts or volunteers to maintain consistent webinar quality.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to facilitate clear presentations, moderate discussions, and engage diverse audiences.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to respond to participant inquiries, provide assistance, and ensure a positive attendee experience.
- Candidates should possess Training skills to guide volunteers or co-hosts and support knowledge transfer within the team.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Food & Beverage experience where relevant to outreach, sponsorship discussions, or event-style hospitality in virtual settings.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with energy and climate change topics, experience with webinar or video-conferencing platforms, strong organizational and time-management skills, and comfort working independently in a remote environment.
- A background in education, communications, environmental studies, or related fields, as well as prior experience hosting events or webinars, is an advantage but not mandatory.
