ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Program Coordinator to join our team to support the delivery of Planet Ark’s flagship campaigns and programs, including National Tree Day, National Recycling Week, Recycling Near You, and The Seedling Bank.

This is a cross-functional role that involves communications, stakeholder engagement, website and database management, and reporting. 


As Program Coordinator, you will:

  • Support the strategic planning, delivery, and evaluation of Planet Ark's major campaigns and programs to drive campaign and program success, in alignment with Planet Ark’s mission and goals. 
  • Support management of Planet Ark's various websites, including database and content management system (CMS) administration, stakeholder support, and contributing to website improvements and reporting.
  • Collate and analyse data, information, and feedback in the relevant databases, in line with campaign and program reporting requirements.
  • Plan and execute stakeholder outreach and engagement through digital communications, encouraging participation and support for Planet Ark's campaigns and programs.
  • Work with the relevant teams to deliver campaign commitments and reporting requirements for sponsors, partners, and donors.
  • Assist with the delivery of ad-hoc or special projects, as time and skillset allow.
  • Respond to incoming enquiries across various channels.


This is a full-time, permanent position. The salary for this role is $70,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus superannuation and benefits.


ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

We’re looking for someone who has: 

  • Excellent accuracy and fine attention to detail in managing data.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated capacity for stakeholder relationship management and diplomacy.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy in generic computer programs such as Microsoft Office and EDM/email systems.
  • Experience using website content management systems (CMS) and databases.
  • Strong time management skills, with an ability to manage ongoing, concurrent tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team and to take directions from others.
  • A strong alignment with Planet Ark’s mission and values and a commitment to improving environmental outcomes. 
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
  • Knowledge of environmental issues, including the circular economy, climate change, and biodiversity.
  • Experience creating engaging content for public consumption including developing Electronic Direct Mail (EDM), educational resources, and social media content.
  • Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Experience working within the not-for-profit sector.


Candidates MUST have full working rights in Australia (permanent residency or citizenship).
