Role Description
We are seeking a Co-Founder & Chief Partnerships Officer (Climate & Impact Finance) to join the core leadership team at PLAN8 PACKAGES.
This is a founding leadership role for an individual who can unlock capital, partnerships, and global opportunities within the climate and sustainability ecosystem.
The selected candidate will lead efforts to secure grants and climate funding from international organizations, NGOs, and development agencies; build strategic partnerships with institutions such as UNDP, Green Climate Fund, and similar bodies; collaborate with governments, policymakers, and private-sector sustainability leaders; and develop sponsorships and partnerships for large-scale climate conferences and initiatives.
This role will play a critical part in shaping PLAN8 PACKAGES’s global positioning, funding pipeline, and long-term impact strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute global fundraising strategy across grants, climate finance, and impact capital
Build and maintain relationships with NGOs, development organizations, and funding bodies
Identify and secure international climate finance opportunities
Develop partnerships for climate conferences and sustainability initiatives
Work closely with the founding team on strategy, expansion, and global outreach
Represent PLAN8 PACKAGES in high-level engagements with stakeholders, policymakers, and institutions
Qualifications
7–10+ years of experience in NGOs, development sector, grants management, fundraising, climate finance, sustainability initiatives, public policy, international development, or related fields
Proven track record of securing grants or funding from reputable organizations
Strong network within global institutions, including the UN ecosystem, climate funds, and NGOs
Experience working with or alongside organizations such as World Bank, UNDP, or similar
Deep understanding of climate change, sustainability, and impact-driven ecosystems
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-growing startup environment
