Senior Counsel San Francisco, CA (hybrid) $175,000 - $275,000 plus bonus Piper Maddox is partnering with a leading renewable energy IPP that has developed over 4 GW of energy and raised over $10 billion of equity to develop its wind, solar, and storage portfolio. Our client is seeking a Senior Counsel who will lead the legal team within the C&I business and have a critical seat at the table in creating and executing a robust legal function to push projects forward. Owning the legal suite of responsibilities including drafting and negotiating leases, PPAs, and agreements. Advise finance teams on associated risks and create mitigation strategies. Partner with senior management to ensure alignment on project requirements, risk management, value maximization, and the impact of federal legislations. 8+ years counsel experience including support of renewable clients/companies (solar C&I preferred). ~ Experience in development, construction, and financing of energy infrastructure/facilities. ~ Big Law experience and training. ~ Law degree (J.
