Service Technician (Mechanical/Electrical)

New opportunity with a leading innovator in Battery Energy Storage and Clean Energy Technology, currently expanding their Service team in Arizona. They're hiring a Field Service Technician to support and maintain large-scale battery energy storage systems across customer sites in the Salome, AZ region . This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone with a mechanical or electrical background who enjoys troubleshooting, travel, and being part of the clean energy transition. What You’ll Be Doing: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on battery energy storage systems (BESS) at customer sites Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues in the field Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure optimal system performance Document service activities and provide feedback for continuous improvement Travel to various customer locations across the Salome region What We’re Looking For: ~2+ years of experience in electrical or mechanical service roles (BESS, solar, or industrial equipment experience a plus) ~ Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills ~ Comfortable working in field environments and traveling regularly ~ Technical certification or associate degree in electrical, mechanical, or related field preferred ~ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Rate & Location: ~ Competitive hourly rate - includes full benefits + 401(k) ~6–12 month initial contract with strong potential for extension ~ Salome, AZ region - field-based role If you're passionate about clean energy and want to be part of a growing industry, let’s connect!
