Electrical Foreman
Summary:
The Field Electrical Lead will guide and support a team of electrical installers while actively working alongside them in the field. This person ensures all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in alignment with the company’s workmanship expectations and applicable electrical regulations.
They will play a hands-on role in completing a wide range of electrical tasks related to commercial and industrial clean-energy construction. This includes running wire pathways, assembling electrical components, setting up control and power equipment, coordinating with utility connections, and performing below-grade installation tasks.
This position is suited for a seasoned electrical professional—preferably credentialed—who is comfortable directing crews, solving on-site challenges, and maintaining high standards of installation quality. Their leadership and technical capabilities will directly support the successful delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects
Responsibilities:
- Direct day-to-day activities of the electrical field team, guiding them through scheduled tasks and providing regular updates to on-site leadership.
- Carry out system start-up, testing, and verification procedures to ensure installations function as intended.
- Support pre-construction tasks by reviewing site conditions and helping confirm the materials needed for electrical portions of the project.
- Review and apply technical documents—such as layouts, diagrams, and job plans—to ensure work is completed accurately and consistently.
- Make sure all electrical work follows required regulations, local rules, safety expectations, and internal quality practices.
- Coordinate closely with site leadership, project management, and other partners to prepare for upcoming work, reduce potential issues, and keep the project on schedule and on budget.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed Journeyman Electrician (Arizona preferred).
- Proven experience managing electrical crews and overseeing on-site project operations.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial or industrial electrical projects; solar installation experience strongly preferred.
- Expertise with interconnection and underground electrical scopes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of NEC, electrical safety practices.
- Proven leadership ability to supervise, train, and motivate a team while driving results.
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills; self-motivated and able to work
