Associate, Capital Markets

Compensation: $130,000 - 165,000 + bonus

Location: New York, NY or San Francisco, CA (Hybrid / In-Office)


Piper Maddox is partnered with a high-growth infrastructure financial services platform at the intersection of capital markets, infrastructure, and technology. The business is building a new approach to financing energy transition and digital infrastructure, giving this person the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership, institutional investors, and live transactions.


This is a high-ownership seat for someone early in their career who wants to move beyond traditional banking and play a meaningful role in building a growing capital markets platform.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and analyze financial models supporting infrastructure financings and structured transactions.
  • Create investor materials and support capital raising from initial outreach through close.
  • Own diligence, investor Q&A, and key transaction workstreams.
  • Support origination, investor engagement, and evaluation of new infrastructure opportunities.
  • Work directly with senior leadership and institutional investors across live transactions.
  • Help build new processes and technology-enabled approaches to infrastructure finance.


What We’re Looking For

  • 1–4 years of investment banking, project finance, private credit, infrastructure finance, or capital markets experience.
  • Experience across energy transition, power, data centers, or digital infrastructure strongly preferred.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to produce polished investor-facing materials.
  • High ownership, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in infrastructure, capital markets, and emerging technology.
