Construction Project Manager (Solar, BESS & EV Charging – C&I)

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead C&I solar, BESS, and EV charging projects across multiple U.S. markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from pre-construction through closeout
• Oversee permitting, AHJ coordination, and approvals
• Coordinate engineering resources and subcontractors
• Support utility interconnection processes
• Manage schedules, budgets, and forecasts
• Review contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Oversee procurement, equipment, and vendor sourcing
• Serve as main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and safety
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies

Requirements

• 5-10+ years managing C&I solar, BESS, or EV projects
• Strong construction and energy systems knowledge
• Experience with interconnection, permitting, and AHJs
• Proven subcontractor and vendor management experience
• Experience with estimating, cost control, and take-offs
• Proficiency with tools like Procore, MS Project
• Degree in construction, engineering, or related field
• PMP certification preferred

Location & Schedule

• Multi-state project work with travel as needed
• Hybrid flexibility
• Initial 3–6 months based in Martinez, CA
