Salary Range: £70,000 - 75,000

Piper Maddox are pleased to be supporting a long-standing client of ours in their continued growth plans. One of their crucial hires is for a Land Manager, sitting within their existing and well established land team.

Our client have been a leading player in the renewable energy sector for over a decade, and in that time have built up a very strong track record in the development of large-scale Solar and Battery Storage projects across the UK. They have a mixed portfolio of TCPA projects, as well as some of the most impressive NSIP level schemes.

In what has been a time of significant change for the industry over recent years, this company are one that are on a strong upward growth trajectory, alongside excellent results coming from the connections reform process. With this in mind, they are now moving to deliver a number of schemes alongside continued development efforts.

The Land Manager role will be responsible for covering land matters across the full project lifecycle including in the development phase as well as for the site preparing for construction. This would include:

> Securing, negotiating and closing Option & Lease Agreements, as well as ensuring any obligations within the lease agreement are met.

> Covering land access rights, negotiating and securing wayleaves, and easements to ensure smooth access for construction & delivery.

> Within very large scale projects, working on complex cable routing matters covering large distances and crossing over multiple landowners.

In terms of candidate background, this role would be a great fit for someone coming from a chartered surveying background, with experience in renewable energy, linear utilities, or major infrastructure. Prior experience in NSIP/DCO schemes would be ideal.
