Project Manager
A growing organization in the energy and industrial infrastructure sector is seeking a technically inclined Project Manager with a strong engineering background to oversee the execution of large‑scale capital projects. This individual will serve as a critical link between engineering design and project delivery, ensuring that technical drawings, specifications, and design packages are accurately implemented throughout construction and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resourcing plans.
- Coordinate cross‑functionally with internal engineering teams and external contractors to ensure timely project delivery.
Technical Oversight
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Ensure design compliance across procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between engineering, operations, and EPC or construction partners.
- Lead design reviews and resolve technical queries during project execution.
Quality & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to technical scope, scheduling, and execution.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain complete project documentation, progress reporting, and change-order management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of project management experience within energy, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure environments.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and design packages.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder‑management skills.
