Paralegal
Location: Houston
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 + bonus
Piper Maddox are supporting our client as they hire a Paralegal based in Houston to play a central role in expanding their portfolio of land for energy assets across the US. As one of the nations leading land owners and capital providers, this platform are incredibly successful and marks a period of continued growth within the business.
What you will do:
- Prepare, review, and manage legal documents including purchase agreements, leases, title reports, and closing documents
- Conduct title searches and assist with resolving title issues
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and title companies throughout the transaction process
- Assist with real estate closings, including preparing closing binders and settlement statements
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all deadlines are tracked and met
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations
What you will have:
- 2-4 years of in paralegal experience
- Ideally in house experience focused on real estate transactions.
- Experience with real property transactions in renewables preferred.
- Experience with real property transactions in energy, commercial real estate, title, or title insurance may be considered.
