Legal Counsel – Renewable Energy

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate/Associate General Counsel to support a growing international renewable energy business. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career attorney to work closely with senior leadership, gain hands-on experience in complex transactions, and play a key role in the evolving clean energy sector.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support to senior counsel on renewable energy matters and tax partnership structures
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to new deals, buyouts, and ongoing partnerships
• Advise internal stakeholders across corporate, finance, and operations on legal risks and business decisions
• Support day-to-day legal activities across a dynamic renewable energy portfolio
• Contribute to risk mitigation strategies and help prevent disputes and litigation
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure legal compliance and alignment with business goals

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school and active BAR admission
• 3+ years of legal experience (corporate, finance, or transactional exposure required)
• Experience with tax equity/tax partnerships/project finance law
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present clear, practical legal advice
• Sound business judgment and a proactive approach to risk management
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
