We are partnering with one of Germany’s fastest-scaling climate-tech businesses as it continues to build the AI operating system for the energy transition.


The platform enables renewable-energy installers to sell more, plan faster and deliver better, combining software, financing and energy management for solar, batteries, heat pumps and other decentralised energy solutions. The company has secured significant equity and debt financing and is now scaling rapidly across Germany and Europe.


They are looking for a hands-on Head of Operations to lead and scale the operational engine behind the business.


The role

You will lead three core operations teams:

  • Partner Relations Management
  • Customer Support
  • Technical Installation Management & Warranty


Working closely with the Head of Operations & Energy, you will shape the operational strategy, set the roadmap and make sure it is delivered day to day. This is not a role for someone who wants to lead from a distance. You will be close to the detail, step into complex issues where needed and build the processes, team and operating model required for the next stage of growth.


Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop the Operations teams, setting clear OKRs and driving accountability for delivery.
  • Identify process weaknesses and automation opportunities, then work with the AI team to automate workflows end to end.
  • Design and implement scalable processes across customer care, partner management, technical installation and warranty.
  • Own the operations roadmap, translating company priorities into clear projects and actions for the teams.
  • Take ownership of high-impact customer, installer and service-partner escalations when required.
  • Build and manage relationships with installation partners, service providers, insurers and other external stakeholders.
  • Ensure close alignment with Sales, Product, Finance and Energy teams.
  • Forecast workload and hiring needs, recruit new team members and scale the function.


What we are looking for

  • 4–8 years of operations experience, ideally within energy, construction, technical services, marketplaces or another fast-moving operational environment.
  • Experience leading and developing teams.
  • A practical track record of process automation or AI implementation. You understand what AI can do operationally and can turn that into real workflows.
  • Strong customer, partner and stakeholder-management skills, including comfort with complex escalations.
  • Commercial judgement and the ability to get up to speed quickly on contractual and legal topics.
  • Comfortable balancing multiple priorities while creating clarity for others.
  • Berlin-based and excited by an office-first, high-performance environment.


Experience with PV systems, heat pumps, installer networks or technical warranty processes would be a strong advantage, but is not essential.
