Construction Project Manager

The Opportuni ty
This is a critical owner-side Construction Project Manager position focused on the delivery of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
The successful candidate will oversee EPC partners and construction teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual obligations. This role offers the opportunity to have a direct impact on the company's first wave of large-scale energy storage developments in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of utility-scale BESS projects from Notice to Proceed through Commercial Operation Date
- (COD)Manage overall project schedules, milestones, and reporting requirements
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, utilities, and internal stakeholders
- Monitor construction progress and ensure contractual obligations are met
- Manage project risks, budgets, change orders, and commercial considerations
- Oversee project documentation, reporting, and governance processes
- Support commissioning, testing, and project closeout activities
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status and key risks
What We're Looking For
- 4–10 years of project management, project engineering, construction management, or project delivery experience within the power or renewable energy sector
- Strong preference for utility-scale BESS experience
- Utility-scale solar + storage experience will also be considered
- Experience managing front-of-the-meter projects is strongly preferred
- Background with a developer, IPP, EPC contractor, system integrator, or owner's representative
- Ability to manage both technical and commercial aspects of project delivery
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required (typically averaging approximately once per month)
