?️ Your Mission at Phlair

You work alongside our CEO, acting as the central interface between customers, projects, and engineering. Your role is to turn Phlair’s DAC technology into signed offtake agreements and deployed plants by building long-term, trusted relationships with large enterprise customers and convincing C-level decision-makers to commit to multi-million-dollar contracts.

  • Own and execute Phlair’s commercial strategy, translating company milestones into a clear pipeline of revenue, partnerships, and funded projects.
  • Build and manage the full top-of-funnel, including conference presence, thought leadership, moderated panels, targeted outreach, introductory calls, and structured RFP processes.
  • Develop and deepen strategic customer and partner relationships, leading commercial projects end to end and coordinating closely with engineering.
  • Lead Phlair’s non-dilutive funding efforts, owning strategy, roadmap, and execution.

? What You Bring To The Team

  • A BSc or MSc in a STEM or business-related field, with exposure to technology and engineering topics.
  • At least 2 years of experience in commercial roles such as business development or sales, ideally in deep tech, or the energy sector.
  • Experience in large-scale grant applications and managing multi-partner consortia.
  • Strong interest in climate policy and regulatory frameworks and how they translate into demand, budgets, and purchasing decisions for climate technologies.

? Essential Traits

  • Proven ability to deeply understand customer problems, build trust at senior level, and translate complex technical concepts into clear, credible value propositions.
  • Solid technical grounding, with a basic understanding of engineering, ideally process engineering and chemistry, and the ability to bridge technical and commercial discussions.
  • Skilled negotiator with experience structuring tailored solutions for diverse client requirements and navigating evolving CDR and climate markets.

  • Onsite & Collaborative: Our offices in Ismaning, Germany, house our pilot plant, where we work physically on our product every day. The team collaborates closely in the office, five days a week.
