My Client, a Commercial and Renewables Construction firm who have been in business for over 40 years, is looking for a BESS or Solar Project Manager. This company is becoming a major player in Texas across BESS and Solar projects, winning multiple projects and creating the need for more experienced Project Managers to join their team.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project management within Construction & Renewable Energy projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field experience preferred
  • Full suite of Project Management duties including - understanding blueprints & drawings, budget, scheduling, negotiation, cost control, contract & subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications
  • Viewpoint Vista experience preferred.
  • Electrical knowledge and experience is essential

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager is the principal company representative responsible for the construction administration of the project.
  • Responsible for the planning, organizing, and overseeing of job setup and project execution
  • Manage the project closeout process to settle all financial obligations, demobilize all resources, and transition the project to the customer
  • Foster team camaraderie by mentoring, managing, and motivating the project team
  • Monitor and enforce the Safety Program
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate policies, procedures, and processes that help prevent problems from occurring
  • Maintain positive, productive relationships with ALL stakeholders, including employees, Subcontractors, Vendors, Owners, Architects, Engineers, and regulatory entities
  • Travel to project sites to compare progress to schedule, compare actual versus estimated cost, check compliance with plans and specifications, review any problems, and verify the quality of work being performed meets contract specifications

This role is open to US Citizens and Permanent residents only

This role will involve up to 50% travel across the state of Texas
