About The Role
We are seeking a Graduate Transport Planner to join our growing team of specialists. You will be supporting private sector clients in the land development market. This is an exciting opportunity to work on projects that influence how communities move and grow.
Our team is experienced in planning and delivering transport & development infrastructure, flood risk management schemes and sustainable drainage design to develop liveable communities across the country delivering homes, employment opportunities, schools, and other critical infrastructure.
One of our recent projects is the Merton Regeneration. Pell Frischmann has been commissioned by Clarion Housing Group to provide transport planning and highway detailed design consultancy services in the London Borough of Merton (LBM).
Delivered over three redeveloped estates, each will provide significant enhancement to the sites, providing cycle parking and electric vehicle charging points for residents, employees and visitors in accordance with London Plan/Transport for London (TfL) policy requirements.

Main Duties
- Assist in the preparation of Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and Access Strategies for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
- Support the design and appraisal of junction layouts, site access arrangements, and sustainable transport measures.
- Analyse traffic and transport data using industry-standard tools such as Junctions 10, LinSig, and TRICS.
- Contribute to planning applications and liaise with local authorities and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with senior planners and engineers to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions for clients.
- A degree in Transport Planning or Civil Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with UK planning and development processes (desirable but not essential).
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with transport modelling software is a plus.
