Digital Workplace, Gen AI & Automation Analyst:


Peak Energy is searching for a Digital Workplace, Gen AI & Automation Analyst to drive the adoption, optimisation, governance, and business value of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot, and selected Power Platform capabilities across the organisation. You will work closely with business functions across Peak Energy’s regional operations to improve collaboration, information management, productivity, and employee experience. The role combines practical Microsoft 365 expertise with user enablement, change management, lightweight workflow automation, operational reporting, process improvement, and hands-on support.


Main Responsibilities:


Microsoft 365 Adoption & Optimisation:

  • Drive effective adoption and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365 services and related collaboration capabilities.
  • Assess current ways of working and recommend practical Microsoft 365 solutions that improve collaboration, document management, communication, and productivity.
  • Gather requirements from with business stakeholders, solution walkthroughs, pilots, and adoption-readiness activities.
  • Support the design and implementation of fit-for-purpose Teams and SharePoint structures, permissions, navigation, content organisation, and lifecycle practices.
  • Monitor Microsoft 365 product updates and service changes, assess their relevance to Peak Energy, and coordinate adoption of approved capabilities.


Microsoft Copilot & AI Enablement:

  • Drive adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot and approved AI capabilities across business functions.
  • Identify and develop role-based Copilot use cases for functions such as project development, engineering, construction, finance, legal, HR, strategy, and corporate services.
  • Create and maintain prompt libraries, practical playbooks, examples, frequently asked questions, and responsible-use guidance.
  • Coach users to apply Copilot safely and effectively in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, SharePoint, and Copilot Chat and Studio.
  • Gather user feedback, identify adoption barriers, and translate findings into improvements to training, governance, configuration, and communications.


Training, Change & User Engagement:

  • Develop and deliver role-based training, demonstrations, onboarding sessions, clinics, and workshops for Microsoft 365 and Copilot Chat and Studio.
  • Create clear user-facing materials such as quick reference guides, videos, templates, newsletters, launch communications, and best-practice content.
  • Establish and support a network of digital champions across functions and countries to scale adoption and share practical use cases.
  • Promote new ways of working through structured change and communication activities, with particular focus on user experience and sustained behavioural adoption.
  • Provide practical support and guidance to users, escalating technical or security issues to the appropriate IT support, vendor, or platform owner.


Business Process Improvement & Automation:

  • Work with business teams to identify repetitive, manual, or fragmented processes suitable for simplification through Microsoft 365 and Copilot, with particular emphasis on Power Automate for lightweight workflow automation, notifications, and approvals.
  • Translate business requirements into practical prototypes, templates, and maintainable workflows using Power Automate, Forms, SharePoint, and Lists, while escalating complex application development and enterprise integration requirements to specialist teams.
  • Identify and prototype suitable low-complexity use cases in Microsoft Copilot Studio, applying approved governance and escalating complex integrations, custom connectors, and production-grade agent development to specialist teams.
  • Support testing, rollout, documentation, handover, and continuous improvement of digital workplace solutions.
  • Maintain a prioritised pipeline of automation opportunities and partner with process owners to ensure solutions have clear ownership, controls, support arrangements, and measurable business outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Approximately 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in Microsoft 365, digital workplace, modern work, technology adoption, change management, business systems, or productivity enablement.
  • Practical experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat and Studio is strongly preferred.
  • Experience delivering workshops, training, user communications, documentation, and stakeholder engagement for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to gather requirements, analyse business processes, structure problems, and translate needs into simple, maintainable automations and reporting solutions without over-engineering.
  • Practical experience building business workflows in Power Automate and interactive dashboards in Power BI, supported by working knowledge of Microsoft Forms, Lists, SharePoint, and Power Apps.
  • Microsoft certifications in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot Chat, Copilot Studio, adoption/change management, or related areas are an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proactive, service-oriented, curious, and comfortable working across functions and countries in a fast-growing organisation.
