Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Edinburgh for an Air Pollution & Active Travel Organizer (Schools and Communities). The role involves working closely with schools and communities to plan and implement initiatives aimed at reducing air pollution and promoting active travel options. Responsibilities include organizing awareness campaigns, delivering training sessions, collaborating with stakeholders, and advocating environmentally sustainable practices. The Organizer will also engage with schools and local organizations to support behavioral changes and policies that encourage green and active modes of travel.

Qualifications
  • Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with diverse audiences, including schools, communities, and stakeholders.
  • Customer Service skills to build and maintain relationships with community members and organizations.
  • Experience in Training to deliver workshops and educational sessions on sustainability, air pollution, and active travel.
  • Knowledge of Export and Freight may be beneficial for understanding and addressing environmental impacts related to transportation and logistics.
  • A proactive and organized approach to project management and execution, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for environmental sustainability and experience in engaging with schools or community organizations is a strong advantage.
