TAG is entering a high-growth phase and seeking a Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to guide our financial strategy, regulatory compliance, and capital structuring efforts. This is a part-time, contract-based executive role designed for a seasoned financial leader with deep experience in public markets and renewable energy finance.Position Overview
As Fractional CFO, you will report directly to the CEO and serve as a key member of the executive team. You will oversee financial planning, SEC compliance, audit coordination, and capital raise strategy. You will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize financial performance and support strategic initiatives.
This role is ideal for a results-driven, analytical professional with a proven track record in high-growth environments, particularly within the energy or infrastructure sectors.Key Responsibilities
Lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning
Oversee SEC filings, audit preparation, and regulatory compliance
Develop and execute capital raise strategies, including institutional and private placements
Present financial reports and strategic insights to the board and executive team
Manage treasury functions, cash flow modeling, and liquidity planning
Serve as primary liaison with external auditors, legal counsel, and financial institutions
Evaluate investment opportunities and risk exposure across TAG’s portfolio
Implement scalable financial systems and controls to support national expansion
Support M&A transactions, investor relations, and due diligence processes
Required Experience & Skills:
Minimum 5 years in a CFO or senior finance role
Mandatory experience working with publicly traded companies
Mandatory experience coordinating with SEC auditors and managing audit cycles
Mandatory experience leading capital raise efforts
Strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning
Familiarity with renewable energy finance, ITC monetization, or infrastructure-backed assets preferred
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in financial software and automation tools
Ethical, decisive, and highly organized
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Master’s degree or equivalent executive experience preferred
CPA, CFA, or similar professional certification strongly preferred
