Key areas of interest

• Manufacturing / Operations / Engineering : Principal, Director, VP, and C-level leaders with engineering backgrounds across hardware, firmware, and software who have led complex technical teams in scaling climate, energy, hard tech, or infrastructure solutions. We are particularly interested in individuals who have owned the transition from prototype to high-volume manufacturing, overseen factory buildouts or contract manufacturing partnerships, and driven cross-functional alignment across R&D, NPI, supply chain, and operations. Many of these roles require fluency across systems engineering, automation, and industrial design, with a proven ability to execute in capital-intensive, hardware-software integrated environments. A track record of technical rigor, operational discipline, and leadership through ambiguity is key, especially in early commercialization or growth-stage contexts.
• Product vision and program leadership : Principal, Director, VP, and C-level leaders with a demonstrated ability and track record of defining and delivering product vision, strategy, and roadmaps in the energy sector. These roles often sit at the intersection of engineering, commercialization, and customer success, and involve managing cross-functional teams across hardware, software, and systems integration in energy and industrial technology sectors.
• Commercial and Business Development Leadership : Principal, Director, VP, and C-level executives with experience crafting and executing go-to-market strategies for distributed energy, utility-scale, and industrial decarbonization markets. Many of these roles require deep networks and proven results in utility-scale project development, IPP or developer partnerships, origination, and M&A. A strong understanding of complex sales cycles and long-term strategic partnerships with EPCs and financiers is often essential. Deep understanding of market structures, customer dynamics, and commercial drivers in clean energy and an ability to negotiate and structure sophisticated agreements such as LOIs, joint ventures, and master supply deals.
