- Develop and execute decarbonisation strategies: Identify regulatory exposure and opportunities arising from vessel deployment, trading patterns and fuel choices. Evaluate and execute appropriate solutions, including sustainable fuel use and FuelEU compliance mechanisms such as pooling and banking.
- Develop and commercialise low-carbon freight solutions: Help customers address maritime emissions in their supply chains, using sustainable fuels, energy efficiency and operational optimisation, either through direct voyage solutions or via book-and-claim and other credible chain-of-custody mechanisms.
- Build customer demand for low-carbon freight: Engage directly with customers to understand their decarbonisation ambitions, demonstrate what is possible, and develop and present commercially viable propositions, including appropriate allocation of costs and emissions benefits.
- Turn opportunities into executable solutions: Work closely with colleagues in Sustainable Energy Solutions and with Chartering, Operations, Technical and other relevant stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements and customer demand into solutions that can be delivered within real-world dry bulk operations.
