Climate Finance Specialist

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for experienced Climate Finance and Sustainability Finance Specialists to join our exclusive talent pool of highly skilled experts for upcoming projects with clients across Africa and Asia.

What will you do:

• Advise on climate finance strategies, sustainable investment frameworks, and ESG integration.
• Support clients in designing and implementing green finance initiatives, including climate bonds and blended finance structures.
• Conduct climate risk assessments and develop adaptation or mitigation finance plans.
• Assist in regulatory compliance and reporting aligned with international sustainability standards (e.g., TCFD, ISSB, EU Taxonomy).
• Engage with stakeholders including development finance institutions, regulators, and investors.
• Provide insights on carbon markets, nature-based solutions, and sustainable infrastructure financing.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in climate finance, sustainability finance, ESG advisory, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of global and regional climate finance mechanisms and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience working with financial institutions, development agencies, or consulting firms.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Relevant qualifications in finance, economics, environmental science, or sustainability (e.g., CFA, FRM, MSc in Sustainability or Climate Policy).
