The opportunity:
Reporting into the Director of Project Management Office (PMO), you will play a key role in shaping complex product development projects, applying modern systems engineering methods and guiding multidisciplinary teams. This role combines technical depth with strategic influence, ensuring that advanced technologies are smoothly integrated into our products. This role is based in Delft, where our factory and production operations are located. It is a full‑time, onsite position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).

In this role, a typical day will look like:
- Apply systems engineering tools to assess designs, solve constraints, and support verification and testing
- Ensure smooth integration of new technologies into the overall product development process
- Coach and mentor the NPD team in architecture, design, and critical reviews (ADR/CDR)
- Lead technology evaluation and platform development to enable advanced product innovation
- Collaborate with R&D management to drive efficiency, structure, and change management across teams
- Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics or related discipline
- 7+ years in electromechanical hardware development, 3+ years leading multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in translating user needs into system requirements
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills across complex projects
- Experience working with external development partners
- Proficient in English; Dutch is a plus
