ABOUT OTHELLO 

Othello International is a Thai professional services firm serving more than 100 listed companies on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. We combine Thai-English translation, legal and intellectual property, and ESG & sustainability advisory in one integrated practice. We are building out our ESG team to meet the rapid growth in demand for TGO-certified Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO) and Carbon Footprint of Product (CFP) engagements, driven by Thailand's Climate Change Act, EU CBAM, and rising client commitments to carbon neutrality (ISO 14068-1). 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are hiring a Senior ESG Consultant to take ownership of client delivery across our TGO Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO) and Carbon Footprint of Product (CFP) service lines, alongside our broader decarbonization strategy work. This is a senior individual-contributor role with a fast path to Manager: you will run engagements largely independently, act as the day-to-day technical authority in front of clients, and help build out the junior bench underneath you. You'll work closely with the Managing Partner on methodology, pricing, and business development rather than being managed step-by-step through delivery. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

CFO (Carbon Footprint for Organization) — TGO 

• Lead organizational GHG inventory engagements under TGO's CFO guideline end-to-end — boundary setting, data collection, emission factor selection, and calculation across Scope 1, 2, and 3 
• Prepare CFO submission packages and supporting documentation for TGO registration and verification, and liaise directly with verification bodies on behalf of clients 
• Own Othello's internal CFO methodology playbook and keep it current as TGO guidelines and emission factor databases are updated 

CFP (Carbon Footprint of Product) — TGO 

• Lead product-level carbon footprint studies under TGO's CFP guideline, including Product Category Rules (PCR) selection, LCA modeling, and life-cycle inventory development 
• Advise clients on CFP label/mark registration with TGO, and manage the technical review process through to certification 
• Represent Othello in regulatory briefings and technical panels on CFO/CFP methodology in the Thai market 

Decarbonization & GHG 

• Lead GHG inventory engagements (Scope 1, 2, 3) under ISO 14064-1 / GHG Protocol, including verification support 
• Own decarbonization pathway engagements: SBTi-aligned target-setting, MACC development, and transition plan design for corporate clients 
• Lead Thailand Climate Change Act Phase 1 readiness assessments and CBAM reporting engagements for exporting clients 

Leadership & Practice Building 

• Mentor and technically review the work of junior/mid-level consultants; act as quality control on client deliverables before partner sign-off 
• Contribute to proposal development, scoping, and pricing for new ESG mandates 
• Represent Othello's ESG practice in client pitches and industry events 
• Drive internal methodology development, training content, and knowledge management for the growing team 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

• 3+ years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or climate advisory, with a track record of leading engagements independently — Big Four, international ESG consultancy, or senior in-house sustainability leadership at a listed company 
• Required: demonstrated leadership on TGO's CFO (Carbon Footprint for Organization) and CFP (Carbon Footprint of Product) programs — from data collection through TGO registration and verification 
• Strong technical background: GHG inventory (ISO 14064-1 or GHG Protocol), LCA/PCR-based product carbon footprinting, and decarbonization pathway advisory — able to advise clients on strategy, not just compliance 
• Experience managing or mentoring junior team members and reviewing technical deliverables 
• Additional plus: CBAM reporting, SBTi target-setting, MACC development, carbon neutrality (ISO 14068-1), or green bond/SLL framework structuring 
• Thai language fluency (native or fully professional, written and spoken) and strong written English 
• Comfortable being client-facing at CFO/sustainability-committee level with minimal senior oversight 
• Bachelor's degree minimum; Master's in sustainability, environmental science, business, or finance is a plus 
• Credentials a plus but not required: TGO-registered CFO/CFP verifier or practitioner training, GRI Certified Sustainability Professional, IFRS S2 technical training, SBTi training
