Join Our Leadership Team as a Plant Manager!
Are you an experienced manufacturing leader with a passion for operational excellence and team development? We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our facility’s production, ensuring quality, efficiency, and a positive workplace culture. Review production orders and schedules to plan and coordinate daily operations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
Establish priorities for manufacturing processes and develop operational schedules to meet production goals.
Monitor and analyze production and operational reports; Inspect equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and utilization.
Compile, store, and retrieve production data to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Manage plant costs and strive for cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Oversee department supervisors and ensure effective direction, coordination, and evaluation across Wire, Battery, Planning, and EHS departments.
Directly supervise employees, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
Uphold company policies and legal requirements in all supervisory activities.
Organize and deliver training programs, ensuring team members are properly trained and cross-trained.
Write and deliver performance reviews, recognize achievements, and address performance issues as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, or at least 6 years of relevant experience (or a combination of education and experience).
Knowledge of SAP is a plus, but not required.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; understanding of MRP logic and manufacturing planning processes.
Familiar with quality systems and statistical methods; Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and solve challenging problems.
Experience with warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Ability to collaborate with engineering teams to drive product and process improvements.
