Quality Engineer Intern (Supplier) – Part-Time, Onsite
Location: 12621 Harris Branch Pkwy., Manor, TX, 78653
Schedule: Part-time, 30 hours/week (occasional additional hours with manager approval)
Duration: Long-term internship (1 year+)
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
Join our dynamic Quality team and gain hands-on experience ensuring that products meet the highest standards of excellence. This internship offers exposure to quality control processes, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the Quality team to uphold product and service standards.
- Assist in inspections, audits, and testing of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Learn and apply quality control procedures and protocols.
- Collect and analyze data on defect rates and performance metrics.
- Prepare reports summarizing quality performance.
- Support process improvement initiatives and maintain quality documentation (PFMEA, Control Plans).
- Participate in internal audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field .
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Language skills: English required; Spanish, German, or French a plus .
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment with varying temperatures.
- Must adhere to safety guidelines and wear PPE on the production floor.
