Solar Service & Site Survey Technician - $90K Base + Benefits

OnSite Energy – Rockland County, NY

The Role

We’re looking for a Solar Service & Site Survey Technician to join OnSite Energy’s growing team. In this hybrid role, you’ll perform solar site evaluations, system troubleshooting, and electrical service work while coordinating with our operations team to keep projects on track.

Responsibilities

• Perform solar site surveys and evaluations.

• Troubleshoot and service solar systems.

• Support electrical scopes (MPU’s, ESS, EV chargers, meter swaps).

• Work with manufacturers for RMAs and tech support.

• Set up monitoring portals and assist with remote troubleshooting.

• Communicate with customers on project updates.

• Log documentation in CRM and assist crews as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong solar + electrical knowledge (required).

• Experience troubleshooting residential solar systems.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Self-motivated and adaptable.

Compensation & Benefits

• $90,000 base salary
