Quality Technician

Job Summary:

onsemi is looking for a QA/QC Technician as External Service provider. This position reports to the Quality Manager and will ensure the external service provider of calibration and reliability laboratories are in conformance with quality standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain External Service Provider score cards : required annually and required to report low-quality service of external calibration and/or reliability labs in Asia.
• Schedule and perform audits (on-site or remote) – as needed – of external calibration and/or reliability labs in Asia. External audits will include focus on:
• onsemi requirements (12MON07194H – External Service Provider Quality),
• required quality-systems (MIL-STD 883, ITAR and/or ISO 17025).
• quality or OTD issues,
• low quality score cards,
• qualification of new suppliers/services.
• All audits will require the individual to conduct the entire audit from start to finish:
• plan the audit,
• select the audit team (other auditors or technical advisors as needed),
• create the audit schedule,
• document final-audit results, and
• follow-up with the external laboratory to ensure closure of all findings identified during the audit.
• Maintain External Service Provider share point site for external calibration and reliability laboratories located in Asia:
  
  

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Requirements that will assist with this position.
• BS/BA college degree.
• Onsemi calibration lab and/or reliability lab experience.
• Microsoft office experience.
• Onsemi SharePoint site programming experience.
• Auditor training.
• MIL-STD 883 training.
• ITAR training.
• ISO 17025 training.
• VDA6.3 training.
