Role Overview

We are looking for professionals with experience to design and implement communication strategies that align with the clients’ business goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in public relations/strategic communications, social media, and other communication-related activities to foster a positive image and support the clients’ mission.

Your Roles and Responsibilities

• Working with Senior Executive - Strategic Communications at the client office in Aerocity or On Purpose office in Saket
• Designing and implementing stakeholder engagement strategies to enable meaningful dialogue on the clean energy transition in India
• Briefing and guiding the agency team managing public relations, social media, digital and content with client requirements
• Coordinate the production of digital and print communication materials
• Develop strategic documents, concept notes, talking points, meeting notes, donor communication and manage repository of all content developed for a client
• Support client team in organizing and managing stakeholder events, including consultations, workshops and informational sessions
• Build and maintain relationships with partners, stakeholders, and other relevant bodies
• Leveraging diverse communication channels, developing creative campaigns reinforcing and aligning the brand ethos
• Liaise with agency team and manage public relations efforts, including media inquiries, press releases, and crisis communications
• Monitor and report on communication performance metrics
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency
• Overseeing excellence in client delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in communication and development sector (especially in energy sector and climate action) to leverage them for clients’ growth

What You’ll Need (must haves for the role) :

• 1 to 2.5 years’ relevant work experience in energy sector and climate action space is highly preferred
• Experience with advocacy and social mobilization campaigns, and the ability to apply this to communication planning and implementation
• Understanding of development communication concepts, strategies, and methodologies
• Experience in coordinating and liaising with various stakeholders such as government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations
• Project management skills to oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of communication strategies

What Would Be Nice to Have 

• Master’s degree in Sustainable Development Practice/ Climate Communications or related fields will be highly preferable
• Experience managing large account portfolios
• Ability to integrate social media, digital and content amplification tactics into PR plans 
• Freshly brewed coffee-making skills. But don't worry, we won't judge you for it.
