Olympian Climate Champion Volunteer
Olympian Climate Champions is committed to addressing the urgent issues of climate change by focusing on two critical areas: reducing organizational supply chain emissions and combating Black Carbon (soot, smog, and air pollution). These efforts target significant sources of pollution for improved environmental and public health outcomes. By leveraging innovative strategies, Olympian Climate Champions aim to deliver immediate and impactful solutions to help protect our planet. Volunteers are encouraged to join this impactful mission to make a difference globally.
This is a volunteer and remote role for an Olympian Climate Champion Volunteer. The volunteer will assist with educational initiatives, research activities, and advocacy efforts to raise awareness and develop strategies for reducing supply chain emissions and addressing Black Carbon pollution. Responsibilities include supporting projects, drafting content for campaigns, facilitating discussions, and collaborating with team members virtually to achieve organizational goals.
- Passion for environmental sustainability and addressing climate change
- Strong communication, writing, and advocacy skills
- Ability to conduct research, develop strategies, and analyze data
- Collaboration and organizational skills for remote teamwork
- Familiarity with climate-related topics such as supply chain emissions and pollution is an advantage
- Proficiency in digital collaboration tools and social media platforms is beneficial
