Founding Energy Modeller – Energy Technology (London, Hybrid)
We’re building software to support better decision-making across complex energy systems.
Our team sits at the intersection of modelling, data, and product development — creating tools that help users analyse real-world infrastructure and operational challenges.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving quantitative problems and turning analysis into tools that people actually use.
This is an opportunity to join early, work closely with a small team, and help shape both the models and products we build.
What we care about
Interest in energy and complex systems
You’re excited by real-world infrastructure, analytical problem solving, and understanding how systems behave and evolve.
Experience in energy is valuable but not essential — we’re open to people coming from a range of quantitative backgrounds.
Examples could include exposure to:
- Energy or utilities
- Forecasting or planning
- Infrastructure or operational environments
- Economics or market analysis
- Scientific or engineering modelling
- Optimisation or simulation problems
Strong modelling and analytical capability
You’ve worked with one or more of:
- Quantitative analysis
- Forecasting or simulation
- Optimisation approaches
- Scenario modelling
- Data-intensive workflows
- Statistical methods
Why join
- High ownership from an early stage
- Opportunity to influence product and technical direction
