Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

OGCI is a CEO led organization bringing together 12 of the largest energy companies worldwide to catalyze climate action in the oil and gas industry and accelerate the energy transition. The organization is comprised of six practice areas, one of which is the Communications & Engagement Practice, responsible for leading the communications activities for both the OGCI and the Oil & Gas Decarbonization Charter (OGDC). The Practice Groups consist of subject matter experts from the OGCI member companies, who work together to define an annual plan which will support OGCI's strategy.

The Communications & Engagement Practice is responsible for effectively communicating the goals of both organizations, building relationships and engaging with diverse stakeholders, within industry and with external stakeholders.

The intern will be fully integrated to the Communications & Engagement practice group in the day-to-day delivery, supporting members of the team both in the coordination and delivery of practice lead objectives. This internship offers the successful candidate an opportunity to work at the intersection of policy substance and design excellence. You will gain exposure to global climate and energy policy discussions, senior-level communications, and the opportunity to produce work that directly supports public-facing materials and leadership engagement.
