Role Description
The Project Development Manager is responsible for leading utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage projects from site identification through construction readiness. As a key member of Octali's growing development team, this individual will take ownership of project execution, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and drive projects through critical development milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project development lifecycle.
- Act as the primary point of contact for partners, consultants, agencies, landowners, and communities.
- Coordinate technical, legal, environmental, commercial, and financial workstreams.
- Manage schedules, budgets, risks, permitting, grid connection, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support partnership discussions and commercial negotiations.
- Prepare development reports and investment materials.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in renewable energy, power, infrastructure, or project development.
- Proven stakeholder management and project leadership experience.
- Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline.
