Founding Business Developer – Belgian Market (Installer Partnerships)

€80K Basic salary + uncapped commission bonus + holiday
A fast-growing European energy technology scale-up is expanding its commercial footprint across multiple markets, helping accelerate the transition to smarter, more decentralised energy systems.
The business operates at the intersection of energy software and real-world infrastructure, enabling households to optimise and automate energy usage across solar panels, home batteries, heat pumps, and EV charging systems.
They have doubled in size since the start of 2025, and they are looking to do the same moving into 2027 with further plans to expand further into EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop the go-to-market strategy for the Belgian (Flemish) market
- Build and scale a network of installer and ecosystem partnerships
- Drive new partner acquisition across a variety of sectors within Energy Tech.
- Drive partner-led customer acquisition through referral and channel models
- Identify and map the Belgian energy ecosystem to unlock new growth opportunities
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to refine positioning
- Feed local insights back into wider commercial and marketing strategy.
?What I'm Looking For
- Strong understanding of the Belgian / Flemish energy market (could also be EV or highly regulated environments).
- Existing network within installers or energy ecosystem players
- 2+ years’ experience in business development, partnerships, or technical sales
- Fluent Dutch (Flemish strongly preferred)
- Commercially driven with a strong hunter mentality
- Confident building relationships with practical, hands-on stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial and comfortable owning a developing market

- Experience in energy, renewables, smart energy, or climate tech
- Exposure to solar, batteries, EV charging, or heat pump ecosystems
- Background in channel / partner-led sales models
- Experience working across Benelux or multi-country environments
- Technical understanding of energy or infrastructure products
