Summary:

A growing company in electric vehicle infrastructure is seeking a skilled EVCS Technician. The role involves supporting and expanding service operations, working with advanced technology, and helping the shift to electric vehicles. The technician will work on installing, repairing, and maintaining charging stations, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. A company vehicle is provided for work travel.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and repair EV charging stations using diagnostic tools and electrical skills.
• Keep detailed records of work done and coordinate with vendors.
• Complete projects on time and within budget, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to promote maintenance plans and additional services.
• Use personal hand tools for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols when working with high-voltage systems.
• Track system performance, prepare progress reports, and escalate issues as needed.
• Build professional relationships with clients and vendors.
• Continue learning new skills through training and certifications.

Your Experience and Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in electrical work, EV, or related roles.
• Technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Electrical license or training is a plus.
• Knowledge of EV charging systems and electrical troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and adaptable to different environments.
• Good communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; willing to travel as needed.

Physical and Travel Requirements:

• Ability to lift, climb, kneel, and work in various environments, including extreme temperatures and high-voltage areas.
• Comfortable driving long distances and traveling occasionally nationwide.
