Salary Range: $147,652 - $175,917 per annum + 12% super and benefits (Health Manager 4)

Location: NSW Ambulance State Operations Centre, Sydney Olympic Park

About The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping NSW Ambulance’s sustainability agenda and leading initiatives that reduce our carbon footprint, build climate resilience, and align with NSW Government climate change policies.

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will provide expert advice, data analysis, and project management support to develop, deliver and monitor sustainable programs across our organisation.

About You

The Program Manager Sustainability provides research, data analysis, budget estimation, and project management expertise to identify, analyse and implement carbon footprint reduction programs for NSW Ambulance. You are a strategic, solutions-focused professional with expertise in sustainability, project management, and stakeholder engagement. You thrive in complex environments, balancing priorities while driving innovation and continuous improvement.

You Will

  • Lead the design and delivery of sustainability strategies and initiatives across the organisation.
  • Conduct analyses and provide strategic advice on sustainability, resilience, and change management.
  • Develop and implement change initiatives that drive engagement and commitment.
  • Build strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including NSW Health, government agencies, suppliers, and industry partners.
  • Apply best-practice project governance to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeframes.
  • Support the Director, Fleet, Equipment, Uniform and Sustainability, in key program delivery and executive reporting.
